Best Places to Buy Tailgating Clothes

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Iowa chapter.

Kickoff to the Iowa football season is on September 3, when we will play the Miami Redhawks to start off the year, and it also means the start of tailgating season.

Tailgating is defined as, “a social event held on and around the open tailgate of a vehicle. It often involves consuming alcoholic beverages and grilling food. However, tailgate parties occur in the parking lots at stadiums and arenas before and maybe after games and concerts.”

For Iowa students, it’s “win or lose, we still booze” as we don our spirit wear, such as game day bibs, “drink for my city” t-shirts, tiger hawk temporary tats and much more that make us the number two party school.

So get ready for kickoff; it’s about to be lit. LET’S GO HAWKS!
