Corrina Shymansky, 20, is a lively, outgoing sophomore at the University of Iowa. She is studying Communication Studies with a minor in Literature. She is originally from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, before she began her adventure at UI. She is a sister of Delta Delta Delta and spends her time mentoring younger girls in Young Life. When she’s not busy with school or her extracurriculars, you can find her working at Cookies n’ More in the Ped Mall. She also enjoys going to volleyball games to support the team and her dad, Coach Bond Schymansky.Â

Attending my first Hawkeye football game.
What’s it like having your dad as a coach here?
It’s nice always having a parent around in case I need something, especially since he went here too. However, we have a rule that he is never allowed to seek me out without asking me. We meet up for lunch once a week, and I go to most of their games.”
