If you’ve indulged yourself in pumpkin spice everything this Fall and need a little more spice in your workout routine, try a class at your gym! Classes are perfect for this time of year because it is starting to get a little too chilly for your outdoor running route and also your bed is starting to seem more and more inviting was the temp drops. I have taken a few classes through the Rec Center but decided to do one completely out of my comfort zone, Dance Fit. I can’t dance, hate dancing, and just over all don’t enjoy it. I brought my most dance crazed friend along and we checked it out.

The instructor was really good and since she was around my age the class wasn’t geared toward dancing soccer moms (there’s no problem with that, they probably have more moves than me) and she played really good current music. As much as I hated to admit it I had a lot of fun. It definitely had you sweating, but it wasn’t necessarily an intensive workout as say, a cycling class. This class is perfect for beginners through experienced dancers and is a ton of fun when you go alone or with a group of friends!
