When you think of two people that are engaging in a relationship, most likely you would assume that the guy is going to make the first move. As males we have to show that we are confident in in everything we do. While that is true for most relationships, I don’t necessarily think that it’s always the right way to go. Some guys are pretty hesitant to make the 1st move because they fear getting rejected and every guy has too much pride to get rejected. A guy can like a girl and not be certain of the way she feels about it so he might feel skeptical; for this very reason he won’t make a move. If a girl were to make the first move, the guy would feel a lot more confident in moving forward. You’re looking at the relationship in a different perspective now.
Guys feel too pressured to make the first move, they don’t want to wait too long and fall into the “friend zone”. Then they don’t want to rush their move and the girl gets turned off by his aggressiveness. This pressure will do a lot more harm than good. In some situations I feel that it’s perfectly ok for a girl to make the first move. Every relationship is unique in its own way and don’t all start the same way.
