Weekly Obsession: Black Shatter

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Iowa chapter.

My Weekly Obsession…
We all find something in our lives that we cannot live without.  However, this obsession lasts only a short while because we soon become bored and move on to newer, bigger, better, and if we are lucky, cheaper, things!  Iowa’s Her Campus wants to share what they are currently obsessed with in hopes that you too will start a healthy addiction!

OPI’s Black Shatter Nail Polish
Black Shatter Polish is honestly the coolest thing to come to the nail polish world and let me tell you: I am in love.  Basically what it is is a black polish that you apply over an already dried coat of polish and after about 10 second it begins to ‘shatter’ over the base color.  It makes a really cool effect that looks like the black has cracked over the original color you put it on.  OPI has perfected this type of nail polish that has apparently been around for a while, but did not have the greatest reputation before.  I am here to tell you: this stuff rocks.  It can be found pretty much in any nail salon or beauty store and also online.  So go ahead ladies and get as obsessed as I am with OPI’s Black Shatter Polish!
