4 Ways to Start This Year off Right

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Maine chapter.

The first day of class has come and gone and you survived so congratulations, you made it though! Whether you are a freshman or senior, you’re probably wondering what this year will have in store for you and what sort of new adventures you will go on. Here at Her Campus, we can’t wait to be back on your news feed bringing you all the latest and greatest for collegiate women at UMaine! To help you start the school year off right, here are a few tips and tricks to get you as pumped as we are for the semester.

  1. JOIN A CLUB

It doesn’t matter what year you are; there is never anything wrong with getting involved with an organization on campus! Visit the Orgs Fair on the mall from 10-2 on Wednesday to find out more (Hint Hint: We will be there with some free goodies)

  1. Order / go to OHOP

If you haven’t discovered the holy grail of pizzas and bars, stop on by or give them a call at (207)-866-5505! If you are already in love like we all are, order and fall in love all over again.

  1. Order yourself a planner

It doesn’t have to be a Lilly Pulitzer planner (but if it is that’s all the better). You can head to Target or TJ Maxx and find a cute one for cheap to keep yourself organized and motivated all year round.

  1. GO GREEK

Formal Recruitment is next week ladies and any sorority woman on campus will tell you that it’s the best decision they have ever made. If you have any questions just ask any girl on campus wearing her letters and she will get you to the right place! There is so much more to come from us this semester so stay tuned and make sure to follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Pinterest (username: hercampusmaine) to stay up to date! HCXO!
