It’s officially back to school season… which sadly means that summer is over, although the weather hasn’t been showing it (YAY). With this beautiful weather and the summer blues it’s going to be quite difficult to get back into the swing of things. So here are a few tips to get you started and make this year your best one yet!
1. Planning.
I know it’s a scary scary word, but when done with a Lilly Pulitzer planner or any other cute brand, it doesn’t’t seem that bad. So grab yourself a cute planner, some colorful pens and start planning!
2. Organizing your work area.
Having a clean desk to do your work on will help you get motivated to start your homework, which is always a great step!
3. COFFEE.
Who doesn’t like coffee? Grab a friend and go to a cute coffee shop. You’ll get your work done and enjoy some delicious coffee. A favorite of mine is Nest right in Orono :)
4. Going to bed early.
Easier said than done, but having a regular sleep schedule will help you stay focused in class and boost your energy level.
5. Last but not least, join a club!
This will help you manage your time better, help you become more active on campus and meet new people.
Hope everyone has a great school year! And don’t forget to have fun!
