Some workout videos are all talk and don’t really give you a solid workout or results, but then there is Jillian Michael’s ‘No More Trouble Zones.’ Jillian claims that you will forever “say goodbye to saddlebags, muffin tops and wobbly arms,” but we wanted to try this video out for ourselves and see what all the hype was about, and boy were we amazed!
 
We fought through this workout the other day and by the end we were absolutely drenched in sweat from head to toe, muscles shaking, and basically collapsed onto the floor. Needless to say, we are still feeling it!
 
This workout is effective and can yield maximum results because Jillian combines upper and lower body sculpting movements with heart – pounding cardio. The entire workout is based around circuits (doing each move consecutively and then repeating each one again, with no breaks), which makes the body blast fat and tone muscle. As Jillian says, you can’t get that six pack to show with a muffin top; you have to burn the fat on top first in order to show off those chiseled abs.
 
“No More Trouble Zones” is a great workout for athletes and people who are just getting into fitness. Jillian gives alternative options for each move to make it either more or less challenging.
           
Another fantastic part of this workout is that you never work just one muscle group at a time; you’re always working at least two.
 

Workout Break Down:
 

The workout begins with a five minute warm up that consists of light cardio and dynamic stretching. 
 
Then you get down to business. This is where you work those “trouble zones” for 40 minutes straight. It is broken down into seven, 6 – minute circuits, which target the shoulders, chest, arms, abs, back, legs, hips, and glutes.
 
Finally, you will reward yourself with a 5 minute cool down consisting of energizing stretches.
 
Here is a break down of what each circuit works:

Circuit # 1 – Shoulders & Legs
Circuit #2 – Chest & Abs
Circuit # 3 – Biceps & Butt
Circuit # 4 – Thighs & Triceps
Circuit # 5 – Core
Circuit # 6 – Upper Body & Core
Circuit # 7 – Lower Body & Core
