At this point in the school year, most of us Collegiettes feel like we have nothing to wear. One cheap and easy way to change up otherwise boring outfits is to buy a cute accessory! Here is a list of the top ten accessory steals, most of them costing under $10:

1. Cat-eye sunglasses

These sunglasses are super in right now. I saw them the other day at Forever 21, where all the hottest trends are replicated and sold for a low price.

2. Emoji-heart eyes bag

What’s more fun than your favorite emoji paired with a cute dress? Nothing. The answer is nothing.

3. Set of silver rings

Rings always make a Collegiette feel pretty, and most of us feel naked without them! These rings are perfect for any event: class, work, a party, or a family occasion.

4. Silver cuff

This silver cuff adds personality to a set of embarrassingly basic Alex and Ani bangles. I’m more than guilty of wearing my A&A bangles every day, but a cuff makes them look different from every other set on college girls.

5. Set of silver studs

Stud earrings are a girl’s best friend because they’re small enough to never be too much and big enough to add style to any outfit. Plus, elephants are good luck!

6. Beaded headband

Wear this over your forehead for a cool, Bohemian look or wear it in your hair to keep it out of your face.

7. Jewelry tattoos

These are spot-on for a concert. If you are a UMass Amherst girl like me, you can wear these to an EDM show at the Mullins Center.

8. Choker

These necklaces are really in right now. Personally, I never rocked these edgy accessories back in the day, but they are absolutely everywhere right now, from the top beauty bloggers to your fave YouTube star. Thankfully these are back in style, so we can all pay homage to Drew Barrymore circa 1993.

9. Blue and white floral headband

This is an accessory that is completely wearable for everyone,Ā and is especiallyĀ great for Collegiettes walking past the DuBois library, since it’ll help keep your hair back and your ears attached to your head. Plus it’ll make your ears hella toasty. These headbands are available at every price point from Forever 21 to Free People.

10. Headband ear-warmers

You know how your mom never let you leave the house without a sweater? Well, she was right. These ear-warmers serve as a heavy-duty headband and will keep any bad hair day at bay.

So there you go, ladies! My personal favorite is the studs-set from Urban because elephants are good luck. Happy shopping, Collegiettes, and remember to treat yo’ self!

As a senior, she is majoring in psychology with a letter of specialization in social welfare/social work and a letter of specializtion in developmental disabilities and human services. When she is not writing for Her Campus, she is probably joking around with her friends, shamelessly listening to Ariana Grande, or browsing the Benefit and Tarte sections of the Sephora website.
