Finals are officially over at UMass, so it is time to celebrate! And what better way to celebrate than with a little of the best TV shows to watch on Netflix?
1. Bob’s Burgers
This is the funniest show! The characters are shockingly relatable and adorably quirky. The best part about the show’s sense of humor is that, unlike a lot of others, it doesn’t thrive off of putting down other people.
2. Drop Dead Diva
If you’re a romantic, you’ll love this one! The episodes are 40 minutes long, which is a significant chunk of time, but you’ll eat up every minute of it.
3. Community
Community is another great sitcom. Since it revolves around a motely crue study group at a community college, it has so many hilarious things that Collegiettes can relate to. You can’t find this on Netflix, but there are plenty of places online that you can watch it.Â
4. Parks and Recreation
Parks and Rec has the same sense of humor as The Office. So if you like The Office, this will be your cup of tea.Â
5. 30 Rock
Tiny Fey does not disappoint with this show. It’s hilarious and is packed with feminism, which Her Campus is all about.
6. Steven Universe
It is silly and lighthearted since it’s a kid’s show. But just like other Cartoon Network shows, there are some larger and darker themes sneakily placed in the episodes.Â
7. Over the Garden Wall
If you want a show that will be super quick, then this is for you. There are only ten episodes, and each episode is ten minutes long, so you would finish the series in less time than it would take you to finish a movie. The humor in it is very lighthearted and silly, but the overall storyline is incredibly well written.
8. Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones is an excellent show. It takes you into a fantasy world. It also follows multiple different story lines, so there is always something new happening.
9. Friends
Friends is such a classic. It never gets old because it’s just so much fun to watch.Â
10. How I Met Your Mother
Similar to Friends, this show has a great set of characters and really hilarious scenes. There’s a ton of episodes too, so why not start it during winter break?
11. American Horror Story
American Horror Story is fantastic. It’s pretty scary, but not so much so that you can’t watch it alone.
12. Arrested Development
This show is hilarious. The characters are all so strange, but they work together perfectly.
Pick your favorites, Collegiettes, and enjoy your break!
