This app allows you to enter your activity level, current weight, and how much weight you want to lose, maintain or gain. Then it tells you how many calories you should consume each day to meet your fitness goals! (Remember not to count calories for the sake of counting calories! Make sure you are eating a complete, balanced diet)Â

Nike Training Club is for people who want to be competitive in their workouts. This app allows you to exercise with Nike Master Trainers and get motivated with your friends. With over 100 workouts to choose from, Nike Training Club will have something for everyone.
3. Sworkit
Sworkit is a great app for people who are new to the gym or are beginning a workout plan. It is also great for those on the go because you can use the app anywhere, so you don’t even need a gym! The app will ask what type of body part you want to work or just what type of workout you want to do and it will select exercises while you set the time for each repetition. There is even a video of someone doing the exercise so you know how to do each one correctly.
4. RunKeeper
RunKeeper is a fantastic, hands-free app for people who like to run. The app will remember your routes and coach you through every workout. Specifically, it will track your distance, pace, and time length of your workout and read you those numbers every half mile, so you can track your workout while you do it.
