Sad about being single on Valentine’s Day? Have no fear—you’re definitely not alone. Here’s what most of us single ladies are guilty of doing when February 14th rolls around each year.
1. Complain about people posting PDA-filled Valentine’s Day messages to their significant others.
We get it, you’re dating!
2. Designate a friend to be our Valentine.
I mean, where does it say your Valentine can’t be your best bud?
3. Throw a wine night with fellow single pals.
Wine, friends, what more do you need?
4. Treat ourselves to sexy undies.
Who says you need a boyfriend to feel sexy? As if!
5. Buy the 50% off chocolate in bulk the day after.
My two favorite things: sales and chocolate!
6. Have a tiny bit of FOMO when friends in relationships discuss their V-Day plans.
*Inner monologue* Don’t say anything mean, don’t say anything mean…
7. Try to play it off like we absolutely do not want a Valentine.
Or brand the holiday as “lame” or “stupid.”
