Probably my favorite restaurant around Amherst, Loose Goose is a not so hidden Jem. Located right on East Pleasant Street at the beginning of town, it couldn’t be more convenient if it tried.
Â
Known for their sandwiches and pastries loose goose has enough variety to satisfy even the pickiest eater. From the Duke (smoked turkey, sharp cheddar, sliced green apple and whole grain mustad) to my personal favorite the Miles (chicken breast, muenster cheese, avocado, spinach and a roasted shallot mayo), these aren’t just any ordinary sandwiches.
Â
Open for breakfast, Loose Goose is a great way to start the day. Many different breakfast sandwiches satisfy the Amherst population daily. Their coffee is known to be one of the best in town as well. Try the ginger bread iced coffee or the vanilla almond latte, you wont be let down!
