Campus Cutie: Sara Wagner

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Mass Amherst chapter.

Name: Sara Wagner

Age: 21

Year: 2016, 2017 (Currently a senior, next year I will graduate with a Master’s through the Political Science Accelerated Master’s Program)

Hometown: Toms River, NJ

Major: Sociology/Legal Studies

Minor: Spanish

HC UMass Amherst: How would you describe yourself in three words?

SW: Traveler, Christmas-lover, motivated

HC UMass Amherst: What are you involved in at UMass?

SW: I’m a hammer thrower on the Women’s Track and Field Team!

HC UMass Amherst: What do you like to do in your free time?

SW: Track, yoga, reading, Netflix-binging, taking pictures, Parks and Rec quoting, acting on my wanderlust

HC UMass Amherst: What is your favorite UMass memory?

SW: My entire study abroad experience is definitely my best UMass memory. My trip to Spain changed my life, not only because Spain is an unbelievable place to explore, but because of the life-long friendships I acquired while there.

HC UMass Amherst: What do you think your best trait is?

SW: I’d say my best trait is loyalty. I’ll always be there for my friends. In the words of Leslie Knope, “We need to remember what’s important in life…friends, waffles and work. Or waffles, friends, work…it doesn’t matter. But work is third.”

HC UMass Amherst: What’s your guilty pleasure?

SW: A treat yo-self day.

HC UMass Amherst: What’s your best pick up line?

SW: Here are my top two at the moment:

  • If you were a vegetable you’d be a cute-cumber.
  • Are you a ticket from parking services? ‘Cause you’ve got fine written all over you.

HC UMass Amherst: What would your DJ name be?

SW: Swaggggs which also happens to be my Twitter and Instagram handle (not a plug to follow me)
