For all of my fellow Collegiettes who are picky eaters, I feel your pain. It’s a struggle. I bet your nightly experience goes a little like this…
6 o’clock. You know what that means: dinnertime.
You walk into Berk, stomach growling.Â
But then you realize you’re entering a war zone.
You throw some elbows and finally land a seat. Victory.
Now you can think about what’s important: What are you going to eat tonight?
You scan the stations…
You actually don’t eat any of this. And people always say, “Berk has something for everyone.”
Your friends don’t understand your problem.
LOL, you want me to try that?
Someone says, “You should get a pho noodle bowl! It’s plain, you’ll like it!”
You take the plunge. You eat it, but it’s actually kind of awful.Â
Maybe the vegetarian station will have something good. You can add chicken! Mhm, genius plan.
You get up there and it’s burrito night. Guac for all! Things are looking up!
You order. You sit. You’re excited. But when you bite into it, there are beans…
You’re close to giving up. Ramen noodles sound perfect right about now.
But wait! There’s a 50/50 chance there’s grilled cheese!
You head over, happy as a clam, and the station is closed. You feel defeated.
Final call: grab a bowl of Cocoa Puffs and have at it. At least cereal is always there for you.
