In the beginning, you put off studying because you have “so much” time before exams, and you convince yourself you’re doing the right thing.
But then you decide to casually glance at your notes and realize you don’t remember learning anything on those slides and you question all your past decisions.
You’re then forced to accept how terrible you’ve become at making decisions.
So you buckle down and tell yourself to study.
But you still don’t take it seriously because there are more important things to be thought about.
And eventually you become aware of all your study-avoiding thoughts, and you turn into panic mode.
You contemplate whether college will actually ever be enjoyable and stress-free, or if the universe is solely built on failure.
But you stop and give yourself a pep talk, because let’s be real, you NEED that motivation.
Afterwards, you head to the library to pull an all-nighter, and when you finally step outside, you realize you’ve been in there for more than a few days.
On exam day, as you’re waiting for the professor to hand out the exam, you bond with the rest of the unprepared students in class.
But as exam period passes, you trudge through it all like a champ.
For the rest of the day, you try to cope with the fact that you may or may not have signed your GPA away.
But when your grade arrives, you’re genuinely surprised by how well you did on your exam.
And when people ask about how you did, you tell them the straight-up truth.
To celebrate doing such a good job, you know just how to congratulate yourself.
Because deep down, you know you’re capable of anything.
Happy studying!
(Obviously couldn’t end it without some motivation from Nick Miller)
