18. Everywhere you go, you know someone.
When they say Judaism is about community, they really mean it. Whether it’s your camp friend’s best friend’s cousin’s girlfriend, going somewhere new will never be an issue.
17. A tight community means endless connections.
No explanation needed.
16. Shabbat is the best day of the week.
Judaism encourages a day of rest. So once a week we take the day (maybe the night, for some) to sit back, relax, eat immense amounts of food, and enjoy company around us. What can be bad about that?
15. Jews really know how to eat.
Ever tried matzah ball soup? You really should.
14. Not to mention your friends will always like coming over.
Take it seriously when I say your mom will cover the entire table in food. And your friends will love it until your dad starts telling bad jokes.
13. The boys.
12. The girls.
…or the people?!
11. The importance of mistakes
We make them, and we learn from them.
10. We’re constantly celebrating.
9. We re-read the Torah each year.
And each time we read it, we learn new things.
8. Torah also rhymes with Hoorah.
We dance (and line dance) like no other.
7. Sunday morning means bagels!
And lox.
6. When we’re not eating bagels, our bread of choice is challah.
Carb-free is not an option
5. We’re a small, but strong, people.
4. We have great lingo.
Oh vey, what a mensch!
3. We’re taught to keep asking questions.
Do you like talking? Me too.
2. Jews do really fun things!
Like lift people on chairs.
