Name: Emmy Sprong
Hometown: Kirkwood, Missouri
Major: Movement Science
Her Campus: Tell us about your fashion sense and individual sense of style.
Emmy Sprong: I wouldn’t say I have a strong fashion sense yet. I think I’m constantly changing how I want to dress or what type of clothing I’m attracted to. When in doubt, I would say pick something that’s flattering and you’ll always look great.
HC: How does your look change in the winter?
ES: In the winter, I think it’s easy to forget about personal style because it’s so freezing and grey, and all you want is pajamas and warmth. I try to keep what I wear as comfortable as possible so that I gravitate towards it. I have a pair of boyfriend jeans that are so soft and worn in—they look cool but are also cozy on days I don’t want to put in effort.
HC: Any winter wardrobe staples?
ES: My big fuzzy white coat, without a doubt. Black ankle booties, big scarves.
HC: Who or what most influences your look?
ES: Things that influence my style change basically on a day-to-day basis. Right now, I’m really drawn to borrowed-from-the-boys type of stuff and the really classic pulled together British style—particularly the idea of tweed, elbow patches, structured blazers, etc.
