With Christmas right around the corner, it’s time to start planning for your Christmas shopping. If you don’t already know yet what you’re getting for your friends and family, here are some local shops to check out and support when doing your Christmas shopping.
The Cherry Republic is known for having cherry related products. With salsas, wines, candies, nut mixes, and BBQ sauces, Cherry Republic is the perfect place to pick up a unique and tasty product from a local store. My personal favorites are the amazing Conservancy wine, Original Cherry Salsa, and Cherry Berry Jam.
Rock Paper Scissors is a stationery shop with products typically not found in traditional stores, such as these cool feminist magnets that I bought. If you need something simple but want it with a unique design, this is the place to go. They have a lot of products with Michigan or Midwest decorations, like pillows, wall art, and mugs.
The Himalayan Bazaar is a one-of-a-kind gift shop with various products from Nepal. Check out these cool pictures of the shop and its special gifts, including some earrings I bought.
4. Zingerman’s
You might not expect this, but Zingerman’s is more than just a famous sandwich shop; there’s so much to choose from in all of their locations, so if you want to find a gift with high quality, you can choose from some Zingerman’s olive oils, desserts, coffee, and even candy (great for stocking stuffers).
5. Crazy Wisdom
We all know Crazy Wisdom as the tea and coffee bookstore, but it’s also a good spot for some local Christmas shopping. They’ve got really cool jewelry and a lot of cute knickknacks.
