No one likes Mondays. It’s the first day after the weekend – the day where classes, work, and many other responsibilities resume, and you’re just not having it. So who can describe the torture of Mondays better than anyone else? The one and only Abby Lee Miller. In her life, every day is a Monday, so she feels our struggle. Here’s how she sees it:
You wake up in the morning and catch a glimpse of your reflection in the mirror
But once you get ready, you notice that you’re looking pretty on point.
You eat some breakfast, scrolling through social media, only to realize that you’re running late to class.
Finally, you’ve made it to lecture, only to sit in front of a group of girls gossiping about who they hooked up with over the weekend.
The professor then talks about the assignment that was due this weekend, which you completely forgot about.
He then lectures for an hour on a topic you couldn’t care less about as you fight to stay awake.
So you just decide to completely give up on school…
…and instead dream about the lovely lunch you’ll eat after class.
Except when you arrive at the dining hall, you realize it has absolutely nothing edible to eat for lunch that day.
So you go hang out with your friends and you listen to one of them tell you about the ~questionable~ decisions she made over the weekend.
But soon, they start laughing at how drunk you were over the weekend.
You decide to go to the library to study, when you realize that all of your professors scheduled tests during the same week.
And eventually it just gets way too overwhelming.
So you just say, “screw it,” pack your things up, and go home. Because sleep makes everything better… at least for a little while.
