I'm a big coffee drinker and it's where I get most of my creative work done
Ideal Date: As cliche as a cup of coffee is, it's a great way to just talk
and get to know someone. Ideally though, I love doing anything that's fun
and active and gets both of us to feel comfortable and open up.
Looking for in a girl: If a girl has pretty eyes, is down to earth, and
knows how to have fun and hold a conversation, then I'm sold.
Poetry: I've been performing slam poetry since my senior year in high
school and writing long before that. A buddy of mine from back home was
involved in it and I immediately became hooked. Since then, the rest is
sort of history. I've performed in New York City, I'm a two-time member of
Michigan's Slam Poetry team that competes at Collegiate Nationals, and I
was just asked to perform at Michigan's TEDx conference on March 29th at
the Power Center in Ann Arbor. There are going to b 1350 people in
attendance, and 10,000 more people watching via a live stream.
Poetry to a girl's heart: Twice since I've been here, a girl I had never met before dropped me her number
unsolicited. It's also a great conversation piece. It's clearly not why I
started doing it or why I continue to do it, but I'd be lying if I said it
wasn't an awesome perk.
