Name: Sarah Kowalski
Year: Sophomore
Major: Currently undeclared, but I plan to pursue a degree in Bimolecular Science in hopes of attending dental school.
Hometown: Pinckney, MI
Â
Her Campus: What is your favorite hobby?
Sarah Kowalski: Running. Inside or outside, on a track or on a treadmill, in the winter or in the summer…I just love to run.Â
Â
HC: What is your favorite TV show?
SK: Not to sound cliché, but definitely Grey’s Anatomy. I watched all 11 seasons this summer, which happens to be the equivalent of 10 days of my life well spent.
Â
HC: With one year under your belt here at Michigan, what advice do you have for first year students? Â
SK: To freshman and just about everyone else, I advise that you get involved. Be passionate. Stop worrying about what extracurricular activities will “get you into medical school” or “look good on a resume” because after all, your interests and abilities are what make you unique. So if you like to write, write. If you like to run, run. If you like to volunteer, volunteer.
Â
HC: What’s your favorite thing to do for fun at Michigan?
SK: That’s simple. I love going to the football games. The Big House is a magical place where me and 100,000 of my closest friends like to hang out. Go Blue!
