Coming to college, the thought that I would become so close to someone who is everything I am seemingly not ever crossed my mind. I never thought I would form friendships with people who are candid, outgoing and creatively smart–yet, here I am saying goodbye to those exact people.
My college experience would be nothing without you. I wouldn’t have had the guidance I was so blessed with throughout my time here–whether it be about school, friendships, new recipes, or guys–they were always there. Always willing to help, always smiling, no matter what.
Now it’s time to say goodbye…but more importantly, good luck:
Good luck to you as you move across the country, pursuing the dreams you’ve had since you were younger, or at least since sophomore year.
Good luck to you as you move away from the people who have become your second family, they’ve been your rock (as you’ve been mine), and they’ve helped mold you into who you are. Your friendships will never falter, but the distance will be nothing less than difficult.
Good luck to you as you start your first day of work. You’ve spent four years preparing for this–I believe in you, now you need to believe in yourself.
Good luck to you as you make new friends. Your smile is infectious, and these people have no idea how lucky they are to know you.
Good luck to you as you find your new solace- whether that be a yoga studio, coffee shop, or a bench in the park. You had your place here, and now it’s time to find your place there.
Good luck to you as you find something to replace the Big House. I’m not sure what that will be, but know I’m always here if you want to fly back for a game.

And, finally- good luck, but you don’t need it.
