It’s officially the new year and many Michigan students have resolved to change their eating habits. Whether you are just hoping to eat healthier in general, or if you are making a major lifestyle change and going vegan, be sure to check out these places to eat.
1. Detroit Filling Station
Everything on the menu here is vegan, so it is safe for all kinds of dietary restrictions. The Detroit Filling station is a sit down style restaurant and is perfect for a Sunday brunch to get off campus and explore Kerrytown.
2. The Lunch Room
With the same owners as the Detroit Filling Station, everything at the Lunch Room is also vegan. The Lunch Room provides a more fast/casual atmosphere and is a great place for a quick dinner in between studying.
3. Seva
If you have a car or a way to get off campus, be sure to check out Seva for vegan and vegetarian eats. They have a variety of salads, smoothies, and seasonal options.
4. Earthen Jar
Vegan and vegetarian food with an Indian style. Try Earthen Jar for a healthier spin on traditional Indian style food.
