Having been raised in a very close French family, it was only a matter of time before I started becoming like my mom. I’ve been living in denial for quite a while now and have decided that today (accompanied by a glass of wine) is the day to face the truth. Here are the main 15 signs that you’re becoming your mother.
1. You may not be aware of the latest social media trends, but you do know who you want in your online friend circle.
2. You will try to feed every person who crosses the threshold of your door.
3. You wait for sales… at the grocery store
4. You don’t recognize some featured celebs.
5. You think everyone in clubs is too young for you.
6. You’re becoming more and more judgmental.
7. You can’t keep people’s names straight.
8. You drink wine at house parties.
9. You cook everything in you CrockPot.
10. You wear your “special occasion” outfit only once.
11. You wait until everyone’s home to turn off the lights.
12. You start sentences like “When I was your age…” or “In my time…”
13. You’ve mastered your mother’s glare: slightly disappointed, half judgmental and a twist of evil.
14. You live on gossiping.
