Turning 30 is a big deal. You’re past the whole “fall-down-drunk and show up in sweats” phase and have gracefully moved into your “food tastings, wine sampling, red carpet, jaw dropping babe” phase. Welcome to the party!

The Ottawa Wine & Food Festival is turning 30 this year and, like all 30 year olds do, they’re going to be hosting one hell of a party! This party is basically at Kim K status considering it’s a 3 day affair.

On October 30th, 31st, and November 1st, you can join The Ottawa Wine & Food Festival to sample over 300,000 types of wines from all over the world and taste over 100,000 gourmet food samples.

Dress to the nines in your favourite pair of pumps or, if you’re feeling extravagantly daring, in your Halloween costume to walk the red carpet for the “Haute Halloween” (Her Campus uOttawa heard rumours of some pretty great prizes for the best costumes!).

With 200 exhibitors from all over the world, stages for Anna Olsen’s baking series, exciting and engaging (that means you get to taste, my friends) seminars, LCBO pop-up stores (stock up before the holidays, ladies!), and best of all, an ISO-certified tasting glass for all, you’re sure to have a fantastically glamorous weekend!

The best part? You can attend for under $20.00. I know; I was just as excited! You can buy your tickets here! For more information about the event, visit the Ottawa Wine & Food Festival website here!

Use the hashtags #OttawaWineFood and tag Ottawa Wine & Food on TwitterFacebook and Instagram while celebrating responsibly this weekend.
