5 Valentines Themed Cocktails to Make at Home

Looking to shake things up at home this Valentine’s Day? Here are 5 Valentines themed cocktails for you to test out! 

1) Spicy Strawberry Margarita: 

  • Ingredients:
    • 1.5oz Tequila 
    • .5oz Cointreau
    • 1oz Lime Juice 
    • 1oz Strawberry Syrup
    • 2 Fresh Strawberries
    • 3 Dashes of Tabasco
    • Pinch of Edible Pink Glitter (Optional)
  • Steps:
    • Mix sugar and glitter together before rimming your rocks glass
    • Muddle Strawberries at the bottom of your glass and then add ice
    • In a shaker with ice add tequila, cointreau, lime juice, syrup, and tabasco
    • Shake until frothy
    • Strain over ice
    • Garnish with a slice of lime 
    • Enjoy!

2) Hibiscus Gin Sour

  • Ingredients:
    • 1.5oz Hibiscus Gin
    • 1oz Lemon Juice
    • 0.5oz Simple Syrup 
    • 0.5oz Egg Whites
    • Rose Petals
  • Steps:
    • In a shaker without ice add Gin, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and Egg whites
    • Shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds
    • Open your shaker and add ice
    • Shake Vigorously for at least 10 seconds
    • Strain into Martini glass 
    • Garnish with rose petals 

3) Redvelvet Espresso Martini

  • Ingredients:
    • 0.75oz Espresso
    • 1.5oz Red Velvet Baileys
    • 0.5oz Vodka 
  • Steps:
    • In a shaker with ice add fresh espresso, red velvet baileys, and vodka
    • Shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds
    • Strain over martini glass
      • Hint: double strain for extra foam!
    • Garnish with espresso beans

4) Raspberry Pina Colada

  • Ingredients:
    • 1oz Strawberries and Cream Baileys 
    • 1oz White Rum
    • 1.5oz Raspberry Syrup
    • 1oz Coconut Cream
    • Fresh Coconut
  • Steps:
    • Rim martini glass with coconut 
    • In a shaker with ice add Strawberries and cream baileys, white rum, raspberry syrup, coconut cream
      • Hint: for a frozen pina colada try adding it to a blender instead of a shaker
    • Strain into glass 
    • Garnish with a raspberry on the side

5) PassionFruit Spritz

  • Ingredients:
    • 1oz Passoa
    • 0.5oz Vodka 
    • 1oz Prosecco 
    • 0.75oz Lime Juice
    • 0.5oz Simple Syrup 
    • 1 Passionfruit
  • Steps:
    • Cut passion fruit in half and save one half for later
    • Scoop out the insides of the passionfruit and add to a shaker with ice along with Passoa, Vodka, Lime juice, and simple syrup
    • Shake vigorously for at least 10 seconds
    • Strain over martini glass 
    • Top with prosecco
    • Skewer remaining passionfruit 
    • Garnish by balancing passionfruit on the rim of the glass
