It’s not always easy to study—in fact, it rarely is. However, there are some ways to help you get through it. Some people need music to get work done, but many cannot listen to music with lyrics while writing essays. This list of music scores may be perfect to help you get working!
These titles lean towards a more calming vibe. Sometimes just having relaxing music in the background is all you need to efficiently get work done.
- Legend of Zelda: breath of the wild
-
This soundtrack is one of the best ones to help you study. Since it comes from a video game, its purpose is to help you concentrate. There are many different sounding songs included in this game, which helps if you don’t want to stay static while you work. The atmosphere this music creates is a very calming one. Additionally, there are a variety of versions you can listen to. On Spotify, there are piano versions of the whole album and on YouTube you can find LoFi versions of the songs as well.
- Pride and prejudice (2005)
-
This beautiful soundtrack was written by Dario Marianelli and performed by Jean-Yves Thibaudet. It will make you feel as if you’re actually living on the beautiful hills in England, which may just help you romanticize your student life.
- Little Women (2019)
-
Little Women‘s soundtrack is one of our favourites. It was composed by Alexandre Desplat and it truly evokes a beautiful feeling that helps while studying. You can just imagine that you’re Jo March and you’re writing your own book.
- call Me By your name
-
This score can help you get into the zone by making you feel as if you’re in a cottage in Northern Italy. Some of the songs do have lyrics since they’re older songs from the 80s, but the instrumental songs are very nice background sounds.
- Succession (All seasons)
-
Succession is one of the most popular shows on television at the moment and its score is one essential part of it. Nicholas Britell is a genius. The show is incredibly stressful and its score reflects that. This is a change from the other scores we’ve put on this list, but each track is perfect for when you’re trying to cram for that assignment you’ve been procrastinating.
- Howl’s moving castle
-
Every Studio Ghibli film’s score is amazing, but this one has always stood out. It’s super romantic and is just a very relaxing score to listen to.
- Harry Potter
-
This one is not much of a shocker. The music from these films is very nostalgic for so many of us. Having it on in the background while you study could put you more at ease since you feel like you’re actually studying at Hogwarts. If you haven’t yet listened to any of the albums, they’re perfect for getting into study mode.
- Undertale soundtrack
-
This video game soundtrack is incredibly popular. Similar to Breath of the Wild, its aim is to help you concentrate, which is why video game soundtracks are very useful when it comes to studying. It includes 101 tracks so if you want to just concentrate on an assignment for a chunk of time, you can do it while listening to Toby Fox’s popular game soundtrack!
We hope that these soundtracks are able to help you as much as they’ve helped us. Once you find what keeps you focused and motivated, the whole process becomes a lot smoother. It’s always super hard to get into the study zone, but hopefully listening to some nice tunes will help!
