Name: Stephan Robitaille
Year of Graduation:Â 2015
Program: Honours Biology
Relationship Status:Â Single
How are you involved on campus?
So far, this year, I have been a mentor for the Science preparatory workshop, I was also a guide for 101week and I’m one of the student representatives for the Department of Biology on the Science Students’ Association.
What are some things you look for in a significant other?
The first thing I notice in a girl is her smile and then she needs to have a decent sense of humor. Ideally, she would also have to be down to earth as well as have her own goals and aspirations. And, well, if she can cook that would pretty much seal the deal.
Any turn offs?
The biggest turn offs are when a girl can’t manage to do anything for herself… and if she is dishonest.
How would you describe yourself using just three words?
Energetic, down-to-earth and outgoing.
What’s the worst date you’ve ever been on
That’s a tie between the time I had a straw stuck to my face, ultimately causing my glass of water to spill ALL over me. Or… the time my date spent the entirety of the date talking about her ‘conquests’ and how she thought it was perfectly normal to cheat in a relationship. Actually, those were both the same date…. How awkward.
What are your hobbies?
I live for soccer! I also enjoy going to the gym and staying fit. Besides that, I watch way too much Netflix.
Celebrity Crush?
Jordana Brewster, James Franco, Mila Kunis, Anna Kendrick (her twitter is hilarious), Jessica Alba, Megan Markle, I can keep going…
Describe your dream date:
I am an easy going guy, even a hopeless date can turn into an amazing one if the chemistry is right.
Which countries are you interested in visiting?
Greece because a part of my family is from there and simply because I have never been. If I am in Greece, then why not visit Italy, Spain and Portugal as well (am I right?). Australia is another place on my list to visit before I die as well.
Who is your role model?
I’d have to say my dad. He pulls words of wisdom out of nowhere on the regular, he works like a madman, AND is still able to put family above all else.
Any plans after graduation?
Hopefully to continue studying in medicine. Unrelated to school though, I would love to travel somewhere and learn how to surf after I graduate.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Hopefully settled down in a house on the water-somewhere snow can’t find me. Working as a physician, but more importantly contributing to medical research in a significant way. I guess we’ll have to find out!
What’s the best event you have attended on campus?
There is always something happening on campus! It’s hard to choose but I would have to say my favorite experience on campus would be working as a guide for 101week. It’s definitely something everyone has to do before they graduate!
