Tilda is bae. Period. Everything about her is fabulous and artsy and her androgynous beauty is something that is sure to inspire thousand of collegiettes! So without further ado here is one of my favourite styles by Tilda!
1. Shades
Keep them black and classy.
The sunglasses really add to the outfit, especially if it’s a bright sunny day! There’s no need to spend a fortune, so pick a pair up at an accessories store, like Aldo, and you’re good to go!
2. Blouse
White is always a great choice, since you can pair it with basically anything. Look for a flowy cotton or silk (if you feel like splurging) to get that light and hearty feel and look.
A few great places to grab a good quality blouse is Banana Republic and Babaton.
3. Pants
Long and flowy is what we’re going for! You want a cotton, linen, or even tweed fabric. You can even search for a nice dark grey or blue pant.
Free People have an amazing selection on long and wide pants made out of all types of fabrics.
4. Long Coat
The long coat is the main attraction to this outfit, so make sure to find one that hits your knees and mimic’s that Chanel look and feel.
You can most likely find a beautiful coat (with the same Chanel feel) at various vintage shops in your local town. It’s a great way to save a few bucks while still keeping it classy. However, you can always check stores like Free People or Club Monaco, and even Nordstrom for some nice long and comfy coat, as well!
5. Heels
Since your pants will be quite long, you don’t need to worry too much about this part of the outfit, but a suggestion would be to grab a pair of nude or black heels to give you that extra height that’ll compliment quite well with the long trench and pants.
Aldo and The Bay have pretty great heels at affordable prices. Check for heels that you feel most comfortable in and that are a neutral colour!
6. Hair & Makeup
Finish up your Tilda-inspired look with a minimal amount of makeup. You should really only be putting a thin layer of primer and foundation, with a little bit of white eyeliner to make your eyes pop, to really mimic the minimalist style of Tilda Swinton. As for her hair, she usually keeps it simple, whether it be slicked back or blow dried.
