With midterms, projects, and papers slamming us back into the rhythm of school after a much-needed Fall Break, many students find themselves exhausted, stressed, and thinking break wasn’t long enough.
During times like these, it is important to take care of your body and mind in between all-nighters and long afternoons of paper writing and cramming. According to the Yoga Journal, some benefits of yoga include: building muscle strength, perfecting posture, booting immunity, dropping blood pressure, improving depression and overall happiness, increasing focus, releasing tension in your limbs, helping you sleep better, increasing your self-esteem, and giving you inner personal strength.
Come join Her Campus UPenn chapter for a relaxing yoga class to de-stress after a long week back in classes. Everyone is welcome! Francesqua Nicoletti will be leading the class at 4:00 PM this Friday on College Green. (May move to Pottruck if it’s too cold out). BYO yoga mat please!
