- To-do-Lists Are Your Pride and Joy Not only are your bookshelves adorned with agendas and planners of various sorts, making to-do-lists is your favourite way to start off your work. You sit yourself down at the start of every week to plan out your days, thinking you’re fulfilling your role as a keener student. Often times, you may even spend more time making a to-do-list than you spend actually doing your work. Â
- Group Projects Give You Way Too Much Anxiety Having to put your grade and academic standing in the hands of others just isn’t an idea that’s all too appealing to you. You’d much rather put in all the work yourself and get a better grade than have to trust other people with your grade. Needless to say, you aren’t exactly “team player material,” but then again, your peers get to enjoy the perks of having a leader like you handle everything quite gracefully.Â
- You Practically Live at the Local Starbucks Coffee is a necessity. Period. I mean how else are you going to cover the 50 items on your To-Do list? It’s just not doable.Â
- Multitasking Isn’t a Last Resort – It’s A Lifestyle In fact, it’s a lifestyle you’re all too familiar with. You’ve heard the talks and lectures about how multitasking efficiently is impossible and you sacrifice some aspect of your work, but you know this just isn’t true. You can read a book, write an essay, eat your dinner, all while on the phone with your friend. It’s a matter of practice, and every once in a while you may accidentally start writing with your spoon or use your pen to stir your coffee, but hey, minor details.Â
- You Finish Your Work in Random Spurts of Productivity You might spend hours on end at a library, intent on doing work, but find zero motivation or success in doing any work. Then, completely out of the blue, you’ll have a moment of genius and finish all your work in record-breaking time. Your friends are jealous and can’t understand how you get your work done so quickly and so well, but that’s just how life works for keeners.
