Name: Katherine Jane Allen Wuschke, but you can call me Kate!Â
Hometown: Calgary, Alberta

Year of Study: 2nd
Major: Cognitive Science
Relationship status: Single!!Â
Describe yourself in three words: Loyal, caring, and very bubbly!Â
If you could be any food, what would you be and why: That’s a tough question. I would probably be pizza, because everyone loves pizza!
Staying on the food topic, what’s you’re favourite drink at Starbucks? Oh no… there’s too many that I like… But I’m going to have to go with vanilla latte.
Being from Alberta, how are you liking Toronto and U o fT? Do you miss home? I don’t really miss home too much, because I love the friends that I’ve made at U of T and I love Toronto as a city. It’s so beautiful and lively, and there’s always something to do.
I hear you’re in a sorority on campus! How do you find Greek life? Yes, I’m in Alpha Omicron Pi! I’m the VP of membership recruitment this year. I love Greek life – it’s given me the chance to balance academics with a social life, as well as being able to take on positions and grow as a person. There are so many opportunities I never would have had and so many situations I would have never been exposed to if I hadn’t joined a sorority. Not to mention, I developed a great group of friends that I can go to for anything.
What’s it like living in a sorority house? It’s a little bit chaotic at times, but it’s really fun considering I live with 8 of my best friends. You’re never lonely, and there is always someone to talk to and a shoulder to cry on if you need one. Plus, a bunch of closets to raid for cute outfits, which rocks.Â
What is your favourite event that happened this school year so far, whether with U of T or with AOPi? There’s so much that has happened! But I really enjoyed formal recruitment back in September for AOPi, because I got to meet so many cool people.Â
What do you like to do in your free time? Like most university students, I love watching Netflix. Other than that, I enjoy hanging out with all my sorority sisters, whether it’s just cuddling and talking, or getting food or coffee together. I also really like shopping, and walking around in Toronto, especially in Yorkville.
What did you do for Valentine’s Day this year? I spent it with friends and had a girls night out. We got ready together and went out for dinner – it was really fun.
What would be your ideal valentines date? I think it’d be cute to go skating and get hot chocolate, and then cuddle and watch movies together.Â
What are three qualities you look for in a guy? I look for someone who can make me laugh, someone intelligent, and someone who is easy to talk to.
