2016 as Told by The Office

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Wyoming chapter.

When 2016 began, and you were ready to rock it.

You thought 2016 was going to be your year, but one week in you realized you were horribly mistaken.

But you still had to sit back and watch the people who thought this was going to be a great year.

Then you were just annoyed that you actually gave 2016 a chance.

So you tried to make the best out of this bad, bad situation.

You were forced to appreciate the mini victories this year had.

But you ended up spending more time trying to figure out why this year was so awful.

So you just fantasized about how to get rid of 2016.

Finally, you embraced that maybe this is the best it’s going to get this year.

So you did what any logical person would do. Pretended you weren’t part of this society anymore.

Especially once all of the best celebrities started being taken from us this year…

Now you see people sharing articles about why we need to stop calling 2016 the worst year.

But no matter what anyone else says, we all know how awful this year has been.

But hey, 2017 is here, and we can finally say goodbye to this dreadful year!
