This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at U Wyoming chapter.

Hometown: Fort Collins, Colorado

Year: Senior

Relationship Status: In a relationship (sorry ladies)

Major: AccountingCalling all UW ladies! Get ready to meet Seth Marlow. Seth is from the beautiful town of Fort Collins and is the oldest of three boys and one girl in his family. Not only is he killing it in the business school as an accounting major, but he is the president of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity. He likes to watch hockey and The Office when he isn’t running meetings. You have probably seen him sporting a suit in the business atrium or featured on one on the screens in the building for his success in case competitions. Cute, ambitious, and knows how to rock a suit? Yes, please! Unfortunately for all the Laramie ladies, Seth is in a relationship with a certain Cait Sorenson, but that shouldn’t stop you from getting to know this great guy!HC: As a senior, what is the best advice you could give to underclassmen about succeeding in college?

SM:My advice would be to try out new clubs, organizations, or really just meet new people in any way you can. Sometimes your absolute best friends are right next to you in class, but you will have no idea until you talk to them!”

HC: Who is your favorite hockey team and why?

SM: My favorite hockey team is the Colorado Avalanche. Some of my best memories are bonding with friends and family over their games. I also met the captain randomly in Denver, Gabe Landeskog, and fangirled pretty hard.”

HC: Besides hockey and business, what is your favorite thing to do around Laramie?  SM:I love to hang out with all of my friends and play games like Spikeball, Frolf, Ultimate Frisbee, cribbage, and grill super manly steaks and what not.”

HC: Why did you come to UW?SM:If I am being completely honest, I really liked that I didn’t have to type an essay to apply. But overall it was that I was still close to my family in Fort Collins while trying out a new environment.”HC: We know you have a talent for business, so what are you planning to do after you graduate?SM:This question is too hard, next please.” HC: Who would you say is your favorite music artist? Any guilty pleasure artists?

SM:I sort of jump around all music, but I always find myself coming back to bands like Fun, Mat Kearney, Rob Thomas, A Day to Remember, Jack Johnson, and Imagine Dragons. My guilty pleasures are bands like Simple Plan and Yellowcard. Eighth grade was a great year.”HC: If you could travel anywhere outside of the U.S where would it be and why?SM:I am open to trying anywhere, as I think all places have something to offer. As of right now I am looking at taking a trip to Tanzania over the summer, but I would also love to go to Canada because hockey.”HC: We know that you have an amazing girlfriend, but what advice would you give to the women of Laramie who want to meet a guy like you?

SM:Guys like me get intimidated by the beautiful women of Laramie, so don’t be afraid to make the first move. For me personally, dropping a couple office quotes will definitely help, but it’s all about just finding someone who you can relate to and talk to.” HC: Who is your favorite Disney Princess and why?SM: My favorite is Pocahontas. She seems really in tune with nature, and that’s pretty neat. Also I can definitely see myself going on long walks along the river shore with her.”HC: Finally, what do you think your spirit dog would be?SM:My Corgi Nelly is me in the form of a dog. I’m super convinced of it. The following are pictures Nelly, my spirit pup.”

So there you have it, ladies. If you see Seth on campus be sure to ask him about his dog, how to kick butt at case competitions, or even just say hello! He will be happy to have a great conversation with you, especially if you like hockey or adorable pups!

Hello! I'm a senior at the University of Wyoming studying Accounting . When I'm not in the business building you can usually find me in fine arts singing in two choirs because music is my passion. Additionally I volunteer to plan and run events on campus every week. I am the treasurer of the Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, Beta Nu chapter here at UW. I love to camp, hike, read and sit at coffee shops in my free time. Even though I'm originally from Lakewood, Colorado, I have grown to know and love Laradise. I am so excited to a part of Her Campus in Wyoming. Go Pokes!
