As a college junior, I know the semester routine all too well. In the beginning, everything is new and exciting, but by the middle of the semester, it always gets hectic. Studying for midterms, finishing major assignments, and the worst… group projects begin to pile up! When it’s all said and done, you have to make some time to relax. Mid-semester is the perfect time to take a step back and get your life back together.

Here’s our quick guide to a mid-semester revamp:

1. Try something new with your hair.

Getting a new do is a great way to bring excitement to the semester. Bed Head by TIGI offers a variety of products that make styling your hair on a budget a breeze. No time for a wash? No problem. Bed Head Dirty Secret Dry Shampoo and Oh Bee Hive! Matte Dry Shampoo are two options for instantly soft, fresh hair! Add some hold and shine with their Hard Head Hairspray or Masterpiece Shine Hairspray

2. Pamper yourself.

There’s nothing better than a relaxing night in after a long week of “college-ing” (yes, that’s a thing). Choose a Netflix series to binge watch and throw on a facemask! Freeman Beauty has tons of amazing face masks that are made with the most effective ingredients for your skin! You can find masks that are formulated for your skin type. The Manuka Honey + Tea Tree Oil Clay Mask + Cleanser is aimed for oily skin, while the Cucumber + Pink Salt Clay Mask and the Detoxifying Charcoal + Black Sugar Mud Mask are fit for all skin types.

3. Update your wardrobe.

The middle of the semester occurs at the peak of fall season. When you’re on a college budget, sometimes there’s no room for a whole wardrobe makeover, but you can always add new accessories to old pieces! Aeropostale has an entire selection of trendy accessories that you can pair with their various denim styles to create the perfect fall outfits!

4. Unwind.

Grab yourself a drink and unwind. Spindrift Sparkling Water is made with real fruit and comes in a variety of flavors. They’re light, bright, and best served chilled over ice! You can even use them in cocktails (or mock-tails) for you and your besties!

5. Treat yourself.

We all get a sweet tooth every now and then. What’s sweeter than HI-CHEW Candy? These candies are the perfect pick me up whether you’re in your dorm or on the go! They’re made with real fruits, gluten-free, and cholesterol-free!

6. Glo’ Up.

As the semester continues, the remnants of summer begin to fade away, but you don’t have to lose your summer glo. L’Oreal Paris has products that will keep you moisturized and glowing even during the fall. Try out their Bronze Self-tanning Towelettes or Bronze ProPerfect Salon Airbrush Mist for your mid-semester glo-up! Their Hydra Genius Moisturizer is made with aloe water that will keep your skin hydrated through up to 72 hours of wear!

7. Get organized.

Let’s face it. We’re half way through the semester and our lives are in shambles. That small planner you bought at the beginning of the semester is barely hanging in there. Erin Condren creates some of the cutest planners that actually make you want to plan your life. The Hardbound LifePlanner is sleek, light-weight and unique. These planners are fit for college students who want to get their lives together in style!

8. Take care of yourself.

Health is important. In college, we sometimes get so busy that we forget to do the little things to keep us from getting sick. Germs accumulate all over, even on our toothbrushes. The Steripod is an investment that every college student should make. Just clip it onto your toothbrush head and you don’t have to worry about all the gross germs from your bathroom getting onto it. Steripod’s keep your toothbrush fresh for up to 3 months with no hassle! It’s a small item that goes a long way!
