Being a student requires a lot of time and money but obviously we don’t always have those those luxuries. “So much to do with so little time” can basically sum up our university experience. Balancing school, a part-time job, extra curricular activities, and our social lives on top of that can seem totally overwhelming. Thankfully, technology has given us cool resources that make our lives a little easier, one app at a time. Check out these 9 apps that can help collegiettes like us make the most of our time and university experience. But it gets even better – these apps are ALL free and available on both IOS and Android platforms!

1. Mint

Mint is like the personal money manager you wish you had. This financial management service helps you deal with your finances. You can create budgets, see trends for spending, get bill reminders, and more! Here, you can see all your finances in one place and set financial goals.

2. Pocket Points

This app gives you rewards just for staying off your phone. Get cool discounts and be more productive all at once! Just by locking your phone, you’ll get points you can redeem at local and online businesses for discounts, coupons, or gifts! Some of their merchants include Subway, Denny’s, Chick-fil-A, and Lulus.com.

Car share services like Zipcar, which is available throughout Canada and the United States, help you save both time and money. Car sharing is faster than public transport but way cheaper than a taxi or owning a car. Rent cars for an hour or for a day. You can easily reserve cars through the car share services’ app.
