This week’s campus celebrity goes to one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL: Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers was born in Chico, California on December 2, 1983. After high school he enrolled in Butte College, where he led a vaunted offensive attack. A year later, he was drafted to UC Berkeley, where he became the star quarterback for two years.
In 2005, Rodgers entered the NFL Draft and was successfully drafted by the Green Bay Packers. For many seasons, Rodgers served as Brett Favre’s backup, but it wasn’t until 2008 that Rodgers took over as starting QB.
In 2011, Rodgers led the Green Bay Packers to the XLV Super Bowl playing against the Pittsburg Steelers.
With 300 yards and three touchdowns, Rodgers led his team to victory and also took home the MVP trophy for his outstanding performance.
Fun Fact: Game of Thrones, Jeopardy and South Park are among his favorite TV shows.
