By now, it should be no surprise that I’m an acne-prone gal. The only way to really stop me from picking at my face is using pimple patches. You would think that any kind of pimple patch would work so long as it covers up the acne spot, but that’s not entirely true. I’ve tried a few different brands of pimple patches, including the infamous Korean skincare brand, COSRX, but some just don’t really stick — literally. The one brand that I find myself going back to is The Klog. The Klog’s Soft Shield Pimple Patch is by far the best pimple patch that I’ve ever tried for many reasons.
1. It stays on all night long.
Some pimple patches (ahem, COSRX’s Pimple Master Patch and Doe Lashes’s Midnight Patch) just don’t stick throughout the night, which is the time when my face produces the most oil. I’d wake up in the morning, swear there were supposed to be at least 3 pimple patches on my face, and only find 1 left. The others? Absolutely nowhere to be found, which is actually really disgusting.
2. It’s super low-key.
Most pimple patches show up as a thick, yellow circle on your face, which isn’t low-key at all. However, The Klog’s Soft Shield Pimple Patch is mostly clear-looking and really thin, so it doesn’t bulge out on your face. I’ve gone out in public with these pimple patches smacked in the middle of my forehead. When I’d apologize to my friends about my appearance, they always respond with, “I didn’t even notice it.”
3. It comes in two different sizes, and the price is just right.
The Klog’s Soft Shield Pimple Patch offers two sizes — 10mm and 14mm — and for $6, you get 42 patches total. Other brands tend to be on the pricier side, so I find The Klog’s pimple patches to be well worth the money. For example, COSRX also costs about $6, but they only have 24 patches total in its 1 sheet.
If there are any other brands of pimple patches you suggest I try out, please let me know! I’m always on a hunt for new products.
