#2 Prints All Over
Prints have never been “out” of style but moving forward into 2012, they will be EVERYWHERE. These are not just ordinary prints, but prints that are vibrant in color with shapes and swirls that cascade throughout the garment. Think Technicolor futuristic.
Beware: Do not go on a print overload. Piece your outfits together with one print piece and a neutral color to help showcase the print.

#3 Peplum
You’re probably wondering what a Peplum is. A Peplum is a short overskirt or ruffle that attaches to a waistline of a garment. It can be seen on blouses, jackets, skirts, and dresses. It creates a sophisticated silhouette by creating an instant hourglass shape. This look has been seen on YSL, Giorgio Armani, and Nina Ricci’s runways for 2012.
Beware: If you already have a very curvy frame, make sure you are careful when selecting Peplum styled items and use longer peplums to complement your already curvy shape.
How To Do This Runway Look On A Budget:
Check out Foreign Exchange and GoJane.com to find Peplum skirts and dresses. They have a varied selection of cute pieces for your wardrobe. Wear the peplum skirt with a fitted blouse (tucked in) and a pair of high wedges. The Peplum complements curvy figures and a high heel creates longer legs. What girl doesn’t want this look? Try the peplum skirt out and see it for yourself.
