The American fashion Gods have spoken. With Mercedes Benz Fashion Week just ending, the tone has been set for the following Italian and French Fashion Weeks. With spring slowly creeping into the year, soon it’s going to be time to say goodbye to the warm winter clothes and hello to the vibrant colors and the barely-there outfits. With this comprehensive list of the upcoming fall/winter trends, based on the New York Fashion Week, you can start preparing your upcoming wardrobe selections seasons in advance!
1. Blues
Royal Blues, Navy blues, Grey Blues! Hues of dark blue are due to become one of the new “it” colors because of its vibrancy. Shades of blue also compliment nearly every skin tone.
2. Furs
Faux furs, that is. Almost every show incorporated fur vests or fur coats in various different colors. Girls, if you have one, don’t even think about giving it away! If you don’t, now would even be a good time to start looking for one!
3. Sheer Tops/Dresses
Sheer tops and sheer fabric are in! Not only does this look allow you to layer, but also it gives you a very feminine and delicate look.
4. Oranges
Oranges have been popping up amongst the various runway shows! This color is sure to turn heads in an unsuspecting way. Wear orange with other bright colors or use it to give your outfit that added wow-factor. Either way, you’ll stand out amongst the crowd!
5. Tribal Sandals
This fall, gladiator shoes are going tribal. These Proenza Schouler Navaho-esque heels blew up the runway in New York!
