What’s been your biggest struggle at UCI? Finding good Mexican food (looking for a solution ASAP)
What are your hobbies?
I’m into swimming, The Giants, and going to the ARC (mostly to pass time between new Game of Thrones episodes, though)
What kind of music do you listen to?
Hip hop for studying, EDM for going out, country for the road (in particular Wale, Above&Beyond, and Jason Aldean)
What’s your favorite food and drink? Medium-rare steak and Talisker 12 in no particular order.
Favorite item of clothing?
Button down shirts for their versatility. It’s the convenience of wearing them out for a business event and being able to just roll up the sleeves for a casual hangout later.
Are you a night person or a day person? Creature of the night. Catch me at CSL from 8pm-close on my study days.
Favorite Place on Campus? Aldrich Park
What cheers you up? Knowing that my friends have my back no matter what the circumstance is
What do you look for in a girl?
A balance of intelligence, compassion, allure, and humor. I appreciate intellectually stimulating and witty conversation, but it’s also important to me that they have a genuine personality.
What do you first notice about a girl?
Her personality. I’m usually a good judge of character, so if a girl leaves me with a positive first impression, that’s what will matter to me in the long run.
Describe your ideal date.
I’m secretly kind of a romantic, so I would want to do something special, whether it be going to the beach at night or something spontaneous in the moment. I like keeping it fun.
Biggest “turn off?” When a girl doesn’t eat. Seriously. Is that even possible…?
Biggest “turn on?”
Confidence and the way a girl conducts themselves. While its true that guys are usually obliged to make the first move, it’s always cute when the girl drops a subtle hint first. Guys like that kind of thing.
Where do you shop for grocery? Trader Joes: Mango Mochi, Lamb Tikka Masala and Pirates Booty. They are definite must-tries if you haven’t already.
Would you rather be smart and ugly or dumb and beautiful?
Smart and ugly. Looks fade while intelligence is something that you carry with you throughout your life.
What are your career goals after graduating?
Scale the business that my partner and I are running, sell it, then become an associate at a venture capital firm while pursuing impact investing in developing economies.
What’s the most “environmentally friendly” thing about you?
I am actually the Co-Founder of a startup venture called “BottleRocket.”
We are the first direct to consumer pick-up service that enables college students to earn rewards from their everyday recycling. With our service, we aim to encourage households to recycle more by promoting green sustainability practices.

Best piece of life advice you’ve ever gotten or a quote that you live by?
“Love your struggle.”
Embrace your situation in life, both the good and the bad, and let it empower you to propel yourself forward.
How would you want others to describe you (in three words)? Adventurous, selfless, and determined
