We’re all familiar with ATMs that give out cash — but now there’s a new twist that’s the perfect way to get a sweet treat 24 hours a day!
Sprinkle’s first-ever automated cupcake dispenser opened for business this week in Beverly Hills and it’s been so popular that, at one point, customers’ cravings outweighed the machine’s abilities. The ACM– Automated Cupcake Machine, that is –continuously restocks to dispense fresh cupcakes everyday. It dispenses cupcakes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The machine holds 600 freshly-made, individually boxed cupcakes each day. Eventually, the ATM will also offer Sprinkles cupcake mixes, apparel and dog treats.
This past weekend, I took a trip to Los Angeles and stopped by the Sprinkles in Beverly Hills to test out the cupcake ATM myself and found the process as easy as getting a soda from the vending machine or money from an ATM. The ATM-like machine features a touch screen and a robotic arm that pulls the right-flavored cupcake from a wall of single-serving boxes inside the store. The machines charge $4 for a boxed cupcake while the same sugary sweet sells for $3.25 in the store, with no box.
Since day one, I have been a fan of Sprinkles Cupcakes. Their cupcakes are always fresh and come in various flavors to please all customers’ favorite tastes. Sprinkles is known for its amazing cupcakes and whenever I happen to make a visit, there is bound to be a long line.
Hence, that’s why I think this new addition to Sprinkles will attract many more customers with its quick, fun, and easy accessibility.
Automated retailing has gone Hollywood with this new and exciting ATM vending system. If you ever have those late night sugar cravings, Sprinkles has your back and will satisfy your sweet taste buds. After one day of visiting this revolutionary cupcake machine, I am definitely going to revisit the next time I crave a late night sweet treat! So take a mini trip to Beverly Hills with your friends and experience this new fun and easy way of purchasing Sprinkles Cupcakes!
