On May 6, UCI HerCampus club met up with the UCLA HerCampus chapter. The UCI ladies travelled to Manchester, LA where three other UCLA chapter members greeted them. The theme of the event was Mother’s Appreciation, in honor of Mother’s Day. Therefore, the girls naturally chose to see the new movie, “Mother’s Day,” which follows various characters through their hardships as mothers. After the movie, the girls got ice cream, and chatted about the similarities and differences between their clubs. The girls of HerCampus are already planning a second meet-up for next fall quarter: Huntington Beach Day! Thank you to the UCLA club members who made Friday so special.
