There has been one YouTuber that I have been consistently watching for as long as I can remember, and that is Emma Chamberlain. I still remember her old cooking videos and high school vlogs. I’ve watched her grow not only as a Youtuber, but as a young woman. As Emma is around the same age as myself, I feel I can relate to her on a personal level.

Emma was never the type that portrayed what she was going through on her channel. She always gave “happy” content and funny videos to her viewers. It’s wasn’t until she created her podcast when she started to open up to her fans about more in-depth topics . Her podcast is called “Anything Goes” and she releases new episodes every Thursday. Her podcast was founded a while back, but I just recently started to listen to it.

She talks about almost everythingā€”from relationship advice, to self-love, and even fashion, viewers can find lots of interesting topics. However, my favorite part about these podcasts is how personal they can become. Emma shares her own stories that viewers, like me, can especially relate to.

Just like any other human being and teenager, Emma has been through a lot of obstacles over the years. She likes to point out that just because she’s an influencer doesn’t mean that she doesn’t have her own battles. She gives real advice about what she did to overcome these tribulations that help me so much. These podcasts are so genuine, as if her and I are having a regular conversation.

She inspires me to value independency and alone time. She stresses how crucial it is to love yourself in order to sustain a fulfilling life, which is something that I have struggled with over the years. After hearing some of the conversations she has had on her podcasts, I have felt encouraged to take myself out more and treat myself every once in a while. I’ve practiced some of the healthy habits she stands by that help improve my life so much. She has worked hard over the years to have the life she has, and I feel inspired to work hard in my education to achieve my goals as well.

I usually spend time listening to the podcast on my car rides or while I workout. I highly encourage everyone to listen to her podcast and watch her latest Youtube videos. Even her newest videos have matured to fit her growing audience, and are a pleasure to watch.
