Summer is fast approaching, and while Coachella may be over, the music hasn’t stopped! I’ve made a list of just a few of the best music shows going on soon that you shouldn’t miss. What’s the best part? They’re all super affordable and southern California local! So, grab a friend and jump in your car to hear the sweet music from these up-and-coming young artists as they pack up for tour in the next few months. Spend your nights listening to quality music and celebrate the end of the school year! Nothing like good music to set the summer mood.Â

D-WHY
 You may remember this artist from an interview we did with him a few weeks back. Well, I hope you got familiar with his music because D-WHY is going on tour this summer! He kicks off the Young, Loved, Hated, and Broke Tour in one week starting in St. Paul, MN and ends it in Phoenix, AZ for a total of 24 cities. You can catch him in cities like Cincinnati, Denver, Seattle, San Diego and many more. D-WHY will be bringing along special guess including his good friend DJ ETrayn. If you don’t him stopping at a city near you, don’t fret. New tour dates are being added. So make sure to grab an early ticket for what is sure to be a great show from this aspiring artist/rapper!

The Neighbourhood
This up and coming “black and white” style group is exploding on the charts and in the music scene. A day after moving their show from the El Rey Theatre to the Fonda Theatre, tickets sold out in the first 20 minutes for their LA show! So if you were hoping to catch them in Southern California, you’re out of luck, hoodlums! With their Santa Ana show also sold out the only way to grab a ticket is off StubHub! But be warned, tickets run up to $90. Keep on the lookout and maybe they’ll even add some extra shows. Here’s hoping!

Mad Decent Block Party
Though in past years the Mad Decent Block Party has been a free of charge event, it is still worth checking out. $20 early bird tickets went fast for most cities so make sure to pick up a General Admission ticket for only $30. Check out the awesome artist featured on this year’s lineup below.

Catch R&B artist SoMo when he hits LA for what we know will be a soulful night at The Troubadour June 10th. His renditions of old classic throwbacks like Ginuwine’s “Pony” and Usher’s “Nice and Slow” are a testament to his ability to take a song and make it all his own. Cedric Gervais
Talented producer and DJ Cedric Geravais will be at Sutra Lounge in OC this Sunday, May 26th. He has played at some of the best spots in Miami including, but not limited to, Living Room and Nikki Beach. With residencies at Liv in Miami and Marquee in Las Vegas, you don’t want to miss this amazing performance. Catch his playing his hit “Molly,” by grabbing early tickets for only $20. Prices at the door to be $25.
