Valentine’s day is about love and romance; however, sometimes planning the perfect day can be almost impossible. Here are a few ideas for your perfect Valentine’s Day celebration with your significant other.
- Go to a drive-in movie– Find a romantic movie, grab some snacks, dress comfortably, and enjoy a movie with your significant other.
- Go ice skating– Channel your inner rom-com and go hold hands with your partner while skating.
- Watch the sunrise– Start Valentine’s Day with an early morning hike to watch the sunrise and then cook a romantic breakfast together.
- Have a spa date– Spend the day pampering each other; the couple that face masks together stays together.
- Have a sunset picnic– All you need is a blanket, a basket, a bottle of wine, and a beautiful view.
- Take a dance class– Even if you have two left feet, a dance class is a perfect way to spend a romantic evening together.
- Cook a fancy brunch– There is nothing better than brunch; make some french toast mimosas, and enjoy your afternoon.
- Make playlists for each other– spend some time compiling songs that remind you of your partner. Pour some drinks, play the playlists, and enjoy.
- Go stargazing– you don’t need a telescope to have the perfect night; just head to your backyard, lay out a blanket, and spend the night staring at the stars with your significant other.
- Play tourist– Grab your significant other and walk around your hometown. Hopefully, you will discover some new places.
- Make a waffle bar– Build the waffles of your dreams and add toppings to your heart’s content.
- Breakfast in bed– Start the day with the perfect meal and cook your significant other breakfast in bed.
- Write love letters to each other– Grab a bottle of wine, make a charcuterie board, and write your partner a beautiful love letter. Swap letters at the end of the day, and figure out all the reasons you love each other.
- Take a day trip– Go on a mini adventure with your partner, get out of your comfort zone and have the perfect day.
- Make heart-shaped pizza– Not to be cheesy, but heart-shaped food is a Valentine’s day staple.
- Give each other massages– Set up some candles, grab a bottle of body oil, play some relaxing music and give your significant other a massage. They can then return the favor.
- Make a bucket list– Spend the day coming up with a list of everything you and your partner want to do together, then slowly check off the list every date night.
- Watch a Valentine’s day movie– Pop some popcorn, crack open a bottle of wine, and set up your living room to be the perfect movie-watching space.
- Play board games– Put on your coziest clothes and spend the day at home playing every board game in existence with your significant other.
- Have a cook-off– Have your own chopped style cooking competition and see who has superior cooking skills.
Hopefully, one of these ideas will help you plan the perfect Valentine’s day.
