10 Reasons to Play a Club Sport in College

Have you ever considered joining a club sports team on campus? Here is a list of reasons why this may be a fantastic idea!

1. They are still competitive without taking up your whole schedule

2. Playing sports is a great way to releaseĀ any anger or stress

3. It helps you stay in shape

4. There are opportunities to travel to other schools, giving you the opportunity to see other campuses and meet students from different teams

5. You get to meet people from all grades, so you will have peers to help guide you through your college years

6. It will introduce you to friends who share the same love for the sport

7. Playing a sport teaches you teamwork

8. Having practices and games along with your classes helps to teach you time management

9. You get to continue playing a sport you find joy in

10. You do not have to be super talented to play a club sport, they are also for improving your skills without pressure
