We’re almost done with dreary winter quarter, collegiettes! Just hang in there, we’ve got so many amazing events to look forward to in the spring:
1. 100 Years Ago Today: The History of UC Davis
Where: The Varsity Theater
When: Tuesday, March 28th, all day!
To celebrate 100 years of being an official town, the city of Davis is recognizing its past, present, and future at the Varsity Theater. The rest of the year will also celebrate the historic birthday, so look out for many more events in and around town.
2. Farmer’s Market Picnic in the Park
When: Wednesday, March 15th, 4:30 – 8:30pm
Wednesday Farmer’s Markets are back on! Finally, with sunny weather in the near future, Wednesdays will once again have live music, plenty of people out to picnic, and tons of fresh food from now until October.

3.  We All Have A Heritage Culture Showcase
Where: Davis Community Church
When: Sunday, April 9th 2:00 – 4:30pm
Celebrate the diversity of life and view amazing art as well as listen to music, watch dance, and enjoy spoken word. If you’re all about unity and love, it’s the perfect time to come together!
4. Â Peter Pan
Where: Davis Musical Theater Company
When: April 21 – May 14
If you’ve never had the chance to see the local theatre in Davis, now is your chance. All the plays are super fun, feature local talent, and support local artists. Plus, Peter Pan as a musical is too awesome for words.
5. PICNIC DAY!!
When: April 22nd, all day!
Does it really need an explanation? Food, parade, music, friends, battle of the bands, animals, and the list goes on and on. Simply, the best day of the year!
