Davis Questions:

Not many people are familiar with the Anthropology major. What made you choose it, and what is your favorite part about it?

I took a class once called Magic, Religion, and Witchcraft with an awesome professor and I thought it was the coolest thing ever, so I decided to stick with it. I love how it’s such a broad topic; I can literally study any culture, region, or type of person. I don’t feel like I’m stuck in a box.

What is your dream job after graduation?

I would love to do something that allows me to travel the world and take pictures.

You transferred here your junior year. How would you describe that experience?

It was definitely an interesting experience coming to a four year school after spending a few years at home. But I think it was necessary to spend that time figuring out what I really wanted to do. I don’t regret a thing!

What is your favorite eating establishment in Davis, and what do you like to order?

So hard to choose! Burgers and Brew, Crepeville, and El Burrito come to mind for the food and the memories. I usually order something simple and reliable.

What is your favorite class at Davis?

Either Urban Anthropology, Dinosaurs, or Intro to Beer Brewing!

Fun Questions

You are a great photographer! Where did your passion start, and how do you make time for it in college?

I was inspired by this photographer who focused a lot on Harry Potter, so I decided to buy a camera and went from there. I’ve been completely hooked ever since. I bring my camera around every now and then, and experiment with different lenses, and concepts. I hope to do it professionally one day. I didn’t get a camera tattoo on my wrist for nothing!

What Hogwarts House are you in, and why do you think it’s a good fit?

HUFFLEPUFF! DUH! I always thought I was a Gryffindor until I took the official quiz on Pottermore, and then everything just made total sense. I am a straight up Hufflepuff and proud of it.

Last thing that made you laugh?

Something on Tumblr for sure. Something with cats.

Describe your dream date.

Going out to eat somewhere, and then watching the sunset on the beach. It’s cliché, but truly wonderful.
